We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH). As an ED RN, you will provide direct care to patients, evaluate outcomes, and consult with other specialties as needed. Our fast-paced ED environment requires our RNs to be proactive, collaborative, and able to learn quickly.
About the Role- Provide direct care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed
- Consult with other specialties as required
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care
NVRH is a not-for-profit independent hospital located in Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom. We provide primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services. Our rural ED has 9 beds and sees over 14,000 patients per year.
Requirements- Current VT or compact multi-state RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years ER RN experience
- TNCC certification preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including free housing within walking distance of NVRH. Our housing is a private dorm room with shared common space, utilities included. We also offer a free laundry facility and a safe, secured environment.
