Qualifications:
Required Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited institution

Licensure:
Must meet the criteria for licensure eligibility in Missouri or be currently licensed in Missouri

Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association

About Our Team:
We operate a 25-bed unit specializing in Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, and ENT procedures. Our dedicated Neurosurgical team is committed to delivering compassionate care to a distinctive patient demographic.

We excel in providing healing support to individuals facing neurological challenges, including spinal cord surgeries, brain surgeries, lumbar drains, neck dissections, and more.

Our unit employs a diverse skill mix of RNs, LPNs, and PCAs.

Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 for both day and night shifts, while our tech-to-patient ratio is 1:8 during the day and 1:12 at night.

The Neurosurgical team collaborates closely with our physician groups to ensure optimal and compassionate care for our patients.

Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities, patience, and meticulous attention to detail are vital attributes for success in our environment. Our team is dedicated to guiding patients and families through challenging health journeys with ongoing education and expert-level care.
