Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunities

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Battlefield Park Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Facilitate and conduct activities that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation.
  • Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist with preparing residents for various activities and outings.
  • Ensure that all resident care is provided in a dignified and respectful manner.
  • Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
  • Document resident care and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain certification and enhance quality of care.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program and graduate within 120 days of employment.
  • Understanding of resident care procedures and standards.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Compassionate and enthusiastic personality.
  • Patience, tact, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
