Job Responsibilities

As a Security Flex Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the facilities you protect. You will act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near your assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site.

Requirements
  • Must be available to work all shifts and all days of the week.
  • Required to cover for special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
  • Driving Position: must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
  • Access Control and Access Badge experience preferred.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills.
  • Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in the elements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
  • Able to:
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
