Job Summary:

The Part Time Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating various equipment. This includes copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices.

The ideal candidate will provide accurate information on our products and services, exhibit confidence in industry best practices, and possess strong computer and internet skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor and a professional appearance.

The successful candidate will be a fast learner who can quickly adapt to all aspects of the business. Availability to work all scheduled days the center is open is a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers by providing general information on products and services.
  • Anticipate customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Drive store sales through upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
  • Ensure shelves are accurately stocked.
  • Place customer pickup orders and follow through from beginning to completion.
  • Maintain the store according to The UPS Store standards.
  • Maintain accurate store records, including customer sales and transactions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of retail sales policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work weekends or other shifts as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40+ pounds.
