We are seeking a skilled Grossing Technician to join our team at Sonic Anatomic Pathology. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing technical aspects of grossing and dictating tissue specimens using various laboratory materials and equipment.

• Perform all technical aspects of grossing and dictating tissue specimens under direct supervision of a Pathologist or Pathologist Assistant.
• Dictate a gross description for each specimen, including anatomical site, size, color, weight, dimensions, count, volume, cut techniques, abnormal findings, and dissects and prepares tissue for cassettes.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

• Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution or equivalent under CLIA guidelines.
• State licensure, if applicable.
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing within area of specialty.
