Warehouse Loader

Job Summary:

As a Loader at Restaurant Depot, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with the transfer of merchandise from one cart to another or loading it into their vehicles. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the parking lot's cleanliness and organization. You will also assist as a backup to the Porter, performing tasks such as cleaning restrooms, restocking paper in bathrooms and breakrooms, and assisting with spills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in loading merchandise into vehicles

• Assist cashiers and customers with cart-to-cart transfers as needed

• Maintain the parking lot clean and organized by removing garbage and returning carts to their assigned areas

• Perform minor repairs on carts, such as tightening nuts and bolts

• Back up the Porter as needed, including cleaning restrooms, restocking paper, and assisting with spills

Requirements:

• Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds for 50 feet or less

• Physical aptitudes include agility, dynamic balance, finger dexterity, and manual dexterity

• Ability to stand and walk constantly, reach above shoulder level occasionally, twist and turn head constantly, bend over and stoop frequently, climb steps and ladders occasionally, and kneel and squat occasionally

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to ambient temperatures, as most work is performed outdoors

• Equipment in motion, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters, and floor scrubbers
