Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Travel MRI Technologist to join our esteemed facility, Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied. This role requires expertise in MRI technology and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT MR Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Additional certifications as specified in unit requirements
Job Details
  • ARRT MR Certification: Must be current and in hand for submission
  • Position: MRI Technologist
  • Shift: 4x10s
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
  • First-time Travelers: Accepted
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating to Other Facilities: Not required
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted (75 miles radius rule)
  • Pending State License: Accepted
  • RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 7 days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Special Requirements: Experience with Siemens equipment is mandatory
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with IV Starts and PACS
  • Familiarity with Outpatient/Inpatient settings, ER, Level 1 Trauma, Teaching hospitals, Community hospitals, NICU, and Adult ICU
  • Proficiency in various MRI procedures and imaging techniques
Technical Skills

Preferred candidates should have experience in:

  • Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal imaging
  • CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging
  • Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion
  • Peripheral magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, spin echo images
  • Surface coils, T-1/T-2 weighted images
