Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team at Old Betsy Dental of Keene. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing patients for dental work and assisting dentists during procedures.
  • Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and setting up instrument trays.
  • Assisting with dental emergencies and providing great patient care.
  • Recording treatment information in patient records and taking dental x-rays.
  • Providing patients with information on dental hygiene and oral health care.
  • Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
  • Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
  • Caring for dental equipment and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dental x-ray certification.
  • 1-2 years of assisting experience preferred.
  • Experience using computers for various tasks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistently professional appearance and attitude.
