About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our USDS Video Platform team at TikTok. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our video system, which serves billions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable systems to support our video platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Develop and maintain tools and automation scripts to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Provide expert-level support during major events to ensure system stability and performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps in large-scale online services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
