Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective preparation and distribution of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and prepare medications for patient use, taking into account patient age and relevant information.
  • Compound and label medications, and distribute them to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process refill requests for non-monitored pharmacy medications, such as enteral products and respiratory medications.
  • Document the distribution of medications for proper use and reimbursement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
