Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana. You will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients in the hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to patients in the hospital setting
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board or able to obtain
- Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License
- At least 1-3 years' experience as a Hospitalist is required
- AGAC training preferred
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
