Position Overview:
This role is part of a unionized workforce. The CCBHC Intake Coordinator II serves as a Substance Use Disorder Clinical Therapist (LPHA) within our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) program, which is funded through a grant.

Key Responsibilities:
The CCBHC Intake Coordinator II will:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses, ensuring adherence to quality measures
  • Develop and monitor client-centered treatment plans
  • Provide crisis assessments and interventions as necessary
  • Engage in clinical consultations for complex cases
  • Participate in after-hours coverage as part of a team
  • Ensure timely completion of all clinical documentation
  • Contribute to data management and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Counseling, with registration in good standing
  • Preferred licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC

Experience:
Ideal candidates will have:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in DMH or SAPC services
  • Experience with clients facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
  • Strong skills in evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Background Clearance:
Successful candidates must pass a background check and meet specific clearance requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:
Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of substance abuse and mental health issues
  • Cultural competence in working with diverse populations
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual abilities may be required for certain positions
