English Teacher

Coastal Plains Charter High is seeking a highly qualified English Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching English language arts to high school students and contributing to a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
2. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure students meet academic goals and objectives.
3. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
4. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education and to enhance teaching skills.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies that promote student achievement.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and programs that support student learning and success.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Georgia teaching certificate.
• Experience teaching English language arts to high school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
