Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Aide to join our team at Lafayette School. As a Speech Language Pathology Aide, you will provide vital support to our students and staff, working closely with our Speech Language Pathologists to deliver high-quality therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students.
  • Provide support with speech and language screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in speech and language pathology.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from the state of Indiana.
  • Ability to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
