About the Job

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Emergency Department. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to data-driven decision making.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or eligibility for temporary licensure.
  • BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency nursing; prior experience in pediatrics or critical care desirable.

This is a part-time position, working Saturdays and Sundays, 11am-11pm, with a weekend premium rate of $11/hour and evening shift differentials applied. The estimated annual salary for this role is $67,420, based on a 20-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year.
