Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee research projects, including project development, data collection, and data analysis
  • Review and ensure compliance with regulations, including UC and National Cancer Institute (NCI) requirements
  • Track and reconcile personnel efforts charged to grants and contracts
  • Assist with the dissemination of research findings and maintain systems for tracking project-related presentations, publications, and outputs
  • Manage tracking and dissemination of shared resource data from the Stratocore PPMS system
  • Coordinate and assist in the development of external funding proposals
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve research goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biostatistics or Bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Four years of experience in an academic, government, or private-sector research, staff, and/or administrative position
  • Master's degree or Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Biostatistics and clinical trial experience
  • Basic knowledge of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics and related software (SAS and R, etc.)
  • Ability to build, lead, motivate, and assess a professional team
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple customer constituencies and faculty/staff
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
