Job Summary: As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Capability Health and Human Services, you will play a vital role in helping clients develop or regain physical or mental functioning. Working within the confines of our clinic and Early Intervention program, you will implement programs prescribed by occupational therapists to improve daily living and sensory motor activities.

Your key responsibilities will include implementing individualized therapeutic programs, assisting occupational therapists in determining goal progress, maintaining clinical and administrative records, and participating in continuing education and staff meetings.

About This Role:

  • You will work closely with occupational therapists to design and implement effective therapy plans that cater to each client's unique needs.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data to measure goal progress and inform future treatment decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to professional standards, state guidelines, and agency policies.
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing education to meet Nevada licensure requirements.
  • Contribute to staff meetings and training sessions to share knowledge and experiences.

Requirements:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Nevada.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
