Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education. Valid teaching certification for the state of Arizona. Must demonstrate high qualifications for the assigned grade and/or subject area. Possession of a valid fingerprint clearance card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

School Principal

JOB GOAL:

To deliver educational instruction that aligns with Arizona state educational standards.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Designs and administers assessments specific to subjects to evaluate student competency and create personalized learning plans.
  2. Communicates with parents and guardians regarding student progress to set expectations, celebrate achievements, and develop strategies for improvement.
  3. Evaluates student progress toward educational objectives and provides constructive feedback to students, families, and school administration.
  4. Utilizes diverse instructional strategies to cater to individual student needs and enhance learning outcomes.
  5. Supervises students across various educational settings (classroom, cafeteria, playground, etc.) to ensure a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
  6. Engages in professional development and collaborative meetings to share and gather information that enhances student learning.
  7. Prepares various documentation (grades, lesson plans, correspondence, etc.) to track student progress and comply with educational regulations.
  8. Reports any incidents that may compromise student safety or well-being, adhering to legal and institutional policies.
  9. Responds to emergencies effectively to ensure the safety of all students.
  10. Collaborates with fellow educators to support the implementation of curriculum and individual student learning plans.
  11. Develops course objectives and outlines in accordance with educational guidelines.
  12. Keeps accurate records of attendance and academic performance.
  13. Actively participates in peer feedback sessions to enhance instructional practices and student learning outcomes.
  14. Fosters a collaborative environment characterized by mutual respect and support among colleagues.
