Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at a manufacturing company in Medina. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various manual machines to produce or repair parts to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Operating manual machines, including G&L Horizontal Boring Mill, Summit Lathe, Bridgeport Vertical Mill, and Carlton Drill Press
  • Using micrometers and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy
  • Troubleshooting machining issues and identifying solutions
  • Adhering to safety standards and regulations
  • Performing other shop tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with manual machines is required
  • CNC machining experience is preferred
  • Basic math skills and ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Passing a background check and drug screening
