Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Voca is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare team. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a new and challenging environment, gain new clinical skills, and make a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
