As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), your primary focus will be on resident care, ensuring that both residents and their families receive the highest standard of service. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Conducting daily assessments to monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being.
- Administering medications.
- Overseeing the care provided by nursing staff.
It is essential to maintain the confidentiality of all resident information and to foster a culture of safety, ensuring a healthy living and working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
- Direct care experience with multiple residents.
- Experience in behavioral care or memory care.
- Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC) is a plus.
