Maintenance Director Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our assisted living community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver preventive maintenance services for the building, equipment, and grounds
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Executive Director
  • Arrange for and manage contract repairs, maintenance, and construction services
  • Monitor and record building and water temperatures
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety and hazardous chemical procedures
  • Perform floor care and grounds maintenance
  • Oversee the work of the Maintenance Assistant
Requirements:
  • Vocational or trade school degree in general maintenance or equivalent experience
  • Three years of experience in carpentry, electrical, or painting work
  • Valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for business use
