About the RoleAs a Master Automotive Technician at Dalton Subaru National City, you'll have the opportunity to work with a leading dealership group, servicing top brands like Toyota and Subaru. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and we're looking for individuals who share our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles assigned to you
- Inspect vehicles and report on their condition and recommendations
- Check vehicle history for previous repairs and prior recommendations
- Document cause, cure, and correction statements for each operation on repair order
- Document flag and clock time on each repair order
- Check for open Recalls
- Instill confidence in the customer using 'Fix It Right the First Time' protocols
- Partner with service advisors to ensure work is completed and done on time
- Build parts quotes, part availability, and procure parts from the parts department as needed
- Continue to develop your skills and certification through OEM training, on-line and in-house training, and OTJ experience
- Lead, train, and motivate a group of technicians
- Factory Master technician certification or ASE Master certification
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Professional work ethic and high integrity
- Ability to work as a team and/or independently
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
