About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Research Coordinator to join our team at Sarah Cannon Research Institute, a leading oncology research organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing cancer treatments and improving outcomes for patients worldwide.

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure protocol compliance and close monitoring while study subjects are on trial. This includes timely adherence to protocol requirements, using the protocol as the only tool to screen, treat, and follow patients, and accurately calculating and documenting patient data.

  • You will work closely with our research team to ensure that all aspects of the clinical trial are conducted according to the protocol and regulatory requirements.
  • Your expertise in medical and research terminology, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, and GCP will be invaluable in ensuring the integrity of our clinical trials.
  • As a Research Coordinator, you will also be responsible for scheduling follow-up appointments, scans, or any related procedures, and informing and documenting appropriate personnel when patients come off study.
About Us

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the world's leading oncology research organizations, conducting community-based clinical trials. With over 750 first-in-human clinical trials conducted since its inception, SCRI has contributed significantly to pivotal research that has led to the approval of new cancer therapies by the FDA.

Our mission-driven approach brings together passionate caregivers and innovative medical minds to transform care and personalize treatment. We prioritize the well-being of our patients and communities, starting with the care and support of our people.

As part of our Total Rewards package, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree; preferably a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • RN License
  • Knowledge of medical and research terminology, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, and GCP
  • At least one year of experience in a research setting, preferably in oncology
