Job Overview

Position: Nurse Manager (RN)

A Nurse Manager (RN) is required for a fast-paced emergency room setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates patient admission and discharge processes to enhance efficiency and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Engages in continuous evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.
  • Works alongside experts and fellow managers to foster a collaborative environment that drives improved patient outcomes.
  • Promotes a patient-first approach and addresses service recovery when necessary.
  • Contributes to the facility's engagement initiatives by implementing current nursing strategies.
  • Provides input on the recruitment, selection, and training of new staff, ensuring compliance with personnel policies.
  • Oversees staff scheduling and manages labor resources in alignment with patient care requirements.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory control and managing medical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Current nursing license from the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
  • PALS and ACLS certifications to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Preferred: TNCC certification.
  • Flexibility to work across different emergency room locations.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory nursing role is essential.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
