Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at the Community Health Center of the North Country. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, educate patients on healthy habits, and work collaboratively with our team to promote excellent health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatments to assess medical conditions.
  • Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as needed.
  • Develop and recommend policies and procedures governing patient care, medical staff appointments, and clinical privileges.
  • Supervise the quality assurance program and report activities to the Board of Directors.
Requirements
  • Medical doctor with five-plus years of directly related experience.
  • Current, registered New York State license to practice medicine.
  • Current Board certification.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with others.
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with issues.
