The Senior Lab Pack Chemist plays a critical role in our operations, overseeing the safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials. This involves performing various tasks, including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material in accordance with Lab Pack policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, including EPA and DOT guidelines.
- Coordinates with various departments to oversee large projects/jobs and supervise personnel.
- Prepares shipment of packaged waste, inspecting, labeling, marking, and loading into the transport vehicle.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of chemistry, EPA and DOT regulations, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
