Job Title: MRI Technologist

Allied 24/7 is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Bay Shore, New York.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work on a local contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, (MR) preferred
  • Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)
  • Vaccinated for Influenza, seasonal
