Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals for our Day Program.

This role is ideal for those passionate about providing care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).

About the Position
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and community outings
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
  • Uphold clients' rights and promote independence
  • Engage clients in social activities and teach basic life skills

Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of clients' care practices and procedures, and infection control
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
  • Familiarity with first aid techniques is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor
