Your Role as a Caregiver
As a caregiver with Assisting Hands, your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, such as taking prescribed medication, ambulation and mobility, personal care and hygiene, physical therapy exercises, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. You will also be expected to report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency. We require caregivers who possess excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR), housekeeping activities, and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
