Job Summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team of caregivers who provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, including personal care, meal planning, and transportation.
  • Teach and assist individuals with independent living skills, such as meal planning, healthy eating, grocery shopping, hygiene, financial management, cleaning, medication management, and more.
  • Transport individuals to community events and everyday activities in Northwest Indiana, promoting socialization and community integration.

Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have a reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance coverage and an acceptable driving record.
  • You must have a passion for mentoring others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
