Key Responsibilities:

  8. Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions with care.
  9. Handle financial transactions accurately, following company protocols.
  10. Balance cash registers at the end of shifts and manage gratuity distributions.
  11. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including waste disposal and cleaning glassware.
  2. Monitor the service of alcoholic beverages to prevent underage or intoxicated service.
  3. Address guest complaints effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  4. Conduct opening and closing inventory of bar supplies.
  5. Complete all required documentation and communicate any maintenance needs or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of bartending experience, ideally within a hotel or upscale dining environment. A comprehensive understanding of beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations is essential. Applicants must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Furthermore, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and complete necessary training certifications, including alcohol awareness and food handling. The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
