Job Title: Per Diem Registered Nurse

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Per Diem RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Registered Nurse will work on a part-time, as-needed basis to provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and therapies, including chemotherapy and/or biotherapy, as indicated.
  • Perform quality patient assessments, including assessing pain level, medication reconciliation, and reviewing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Assist in the orientation and precepting of new team members and students.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse license.
  • A minimum of one (1) year hospital experience within the last three years.
  • Active American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN degree.
  • One (1) year of pediatric or PICU experience and bedside nursing in the past 2 years.
