Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the technical and guest service skills of our Future Professionals.
  • Coach and mentor students in a clinic classroom setting, using objective-based education (O.B.E.) and other effective teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and incorporate this knowledge into our educational programs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements

  • Previous education and salon experience, preferably in a barber/cosmetology school setting.
  • Current cosmetology, barbering, and instructor license.
  • Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Experience in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment.
  • Solid work history with verifiable references.
  • Passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
