Job Summary

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Outreach
    • Identify potential customer prospects and key contact stakeholders
    • Cold outreach and scheduling introductory/qualification meetings
    • Invite and encourage trade show attendance to customers
    • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing strategies
  • Qualification and Discovery
    • Conduct qualification meetings to determine cultural and financial alignment
    • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
    • Schedule discovery meetings with sales-qualified leads
    • Lead thoughtful and engaging discovery meetings
  • Proposals/Quoting and Closing
    • Help build custom proposals/quotes
    • Present custom proposals/quotes (live)
    • Negotiate and secure final commitment
    • Nurture relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction
  • Account Management and Partnership Reviews
    • Ensure the needs, concerns, and requests of clients are promptly and effectively addressed
    • Support partnership reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products/services to existing clients
Requirements
  • Sales Success
    • Achieving sales targets, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals
  • Selling to the C-suite
    • Successfully engaging with senior executives while taking and maintaining control of the sales process
  • Selling Complex Services
    • Understanding business challenges and delivering value-added solutions
  • CRM Experience
    • Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.

  • Industry Knowledge
    • A deep understanding of the food manufacturing industry (3-5 years), including market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs

Compensation
  • Based on experience
  • Year One: Base Pay
  • Year Two: Base Pay + Commission
