Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide support and guidance to individuals with behavioral and mental health challenges, teaching and modeling healthy behaviors and promoting satisfying, productive, and valued lives.
Key Responsibilities- Complete assessments of functional living skills and develop individualized treatment goals and objectives.
- Monitor performance of independent living skills and provide community support.
- Collaborate with community systems, including schools, landlords, and transportation providers.
- Provide individualized crisis assistance and communicate information relevant to care and treatment with internal team members and outside providers.
- Document services and care provided, maintaining confidentiality of protected health information.
- Attend and participate in staff and service planning meetings and trainings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with 6-12 months of experience working with individuals with autism, oppositional defiance, or conduct disorder.
- Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree, training in behavior analysis, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
