Overview

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Erie. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide one-on-one care and support to seniors and adults in their homes, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities, including dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry, and light housekeeping.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, and other services.
  • Transport clients to doctor's appointments, beauty shops, and other destinations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in companionship and/or personal care is preferred.
  • A passion for helping others and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors and adults.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a willingness to travel up to 20 miles to and from work.
  • Up-to-date care insurance, registration, and a valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass background checks with work-related references.
