Orion Talent is currently seeking an experienced High-Tech HVAC Chiller Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work with large tonnage HVAC equipment, including water-cooled single and dual centrifugal chillers up to 200-2700 tons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Warranty Service Applications by independently inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality.

  • Perform Start Ups by verifying the functionality of new equipment and educating customers on proper use, maintenance schedule, and operating manual.

  • Rebuilds/Retrofits by leading the rebuild and retrofit of all units and directing technicians through hands-on demonstration of necessary steps.

  • Jobsite Safety by wearing personal protective equipment when completing service tasks and adhering to safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

  • Customer Service by demonstrating professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication and interacting with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call.

  • Support Sales by communicating potential sales opportunities to the sales staff through the technician tip quote process.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a Tech/Trade school or Military Training with a certificate in HVAC or military-career field equivalent.

  • 5-10 years' related experience with increasing responsibility, especially with large tonnage HVAC equipment.

  • EPA approved Universal Technician Certification and valid driver's license with good driving record.

Compensation: $42-$52/hr starting pay based on experience, plus overtime, company van, tools, commission-based incentive bonus program, yearly performance reviews, and commensurate pay increases.
