About the Role

Sugarloaf Mountain Resort is seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our garage team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in top condition for our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including GM light trucks and vans, SnowCats, groomers, light and medium duty busses, plow equipment, sanders, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake work, front-end repairs, exhaust and basic electrical diagnosis, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain ATVs, welders, chainsaws, pumps, and other small engine type equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the garage team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair services.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in equipment and vehicle maintenance/repair is required.
  • Shop experience or a tech school degree in a related field is highly desirable.
  • Prior work experience in welding and fabrication is an asset.
