About Our DepartmentThe Emory University Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is committed to delivering state-of-the-art clinical services and research in a vibrant and growing academic environment. Our team provides exceptional care and conducts cutting-edge research in molecular imaging and theranostics.
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Physician-Scientist with excellent clinical skills and the ability to engage in translational molecular imaging at our new facility featuring a state-of-the-art cyclotron, CGMP radiopharmacy, dedicated research PET-CT, and 7T MR. The ideal candidate will have experience in general nuclear medicine, oncologic PET, cardiac imaging (SPECT and Rb-82 PET), and an interest in teaching at a setting with single and dual certification programs in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology.
The successful candidate will collaborate on and/or lead research projects and clinical trials, demonstrating regulatory proficiency and a track record of grant funding and publications. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team in developing innovative treatments and therapies for various medical conditions.
About the Role- Demonstrate exceptional clinical skills in general nuclear medicine, oncologic PET, and cardiac imaging (SPECT and Rb-82 PET)
- Engage in translational molecular imaging research and develop innovative treatments and therapies
- Collaborate on and/or lead research projects and clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance and obtaining grant funding
- Teach and mentor students in a setting with single and dual certification programs in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Emory University also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
