Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the chart of accounts, and preparing journal entries.
  • Perform month-end close procedures, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, the completion of balance sheet account reconciliations, and the analysis of account variances.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes and systems, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to clients, including financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Respond to client inquiries, providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting + Finance industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience with ledger management, entries, and month-end close procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
