Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities
  • Perform sample inspection and measurement of incoming parts and paperwork
  • Support first article inspection of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers
  • Record inspection results and initiate the disposition of non-conforming parts
  • Work with Quality Engineers to define the inspection methods and develop the inspection instructions
  • Coordinate with warehouses and factories to schedule and arrange incoming inspections
  • Train and coach IQA inspectors and provide routine guidance to execute inspection procedures
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Technician, Manufacturing/Process Technician, or Senior Quality Inspector
  • Experience with measurement of precision mechanical and optical components/assemblies
  • Ability to use and identify measurement errors of the inspection equipment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
