Key Responsibilities
  • Assist therapists in assessing patient conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of patient progress.
  • Participate in therapeutic procedures and administer treatments under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Provide exercise instruction and demonstration, as well as assist with patient evaluation and testing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action when necessary.
Certifications and Affiliations
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Recommended affiliation with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Licenses and Certifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
