PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and equipment throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment in our storerooms and yards.
  • Conduct regular inventories to verify the accuracy of our stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
  • Fill orders and issue supplies from stock, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our teams.
  • Transport materials and equipment to other departments or storerooms using hand trucks, forklifts, or industrial vehicles.
  • Verify stock numbers and voltage types to ensure accurate delivery to job sites.
  • Take oil samples from transformers and other electrical devices for PCB testing and mark test results on oil-filled equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must have a Class A CDL.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software, inventory software, email software, and database software.
Working Conditions

The Logistics Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. The employee may occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
