Cafeteria Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cafeteria Aide to join our team at Meriden Public Schools. As a Cafeteria Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school cafeterias.

• Assist students with their meals, including serving food and drinks, and monitoring the dining area.
• Purchase food and supplies as needed, and maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment.
• Work collaboratively with the cafeteria supervisory staff to ensure the efficient operation of the cafeteria.
• Provide positive reinforcement and support to students, promoting a safe and respectful dining environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
