Head of Information Security

The Phoenix Group is seeking a seasoned Head of Information Security to lead our cybersecurity efforts and ensure the protection of our organization's assets. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective security strategies, managing risk, and driving compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect our organization's assets and data.
  • Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the effective implementation of security controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, auditors, and external partners.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on security performance and status.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing cybersecurity programs, including risk management, compliance, and security operations.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of security architecture concepts, including 'security by design' principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of current and emerging security threats, and the ability to develop effective countermeasures.
  • Proficiency with cybersecurity frameworks, including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-53, and NIST RMF.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies, including Agile, SAFe, and SCRUM.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and the ability to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
  • Relevant certifications in security and privacy, such as CSSLP or CISSP.

Education and Experience:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications.
  • Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience in cloud, mobile, and client/server software security.
  • At least 6 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in managing cybersecurity teams.
