Job Title: Matron

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Matron to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a Matron, you will provide personalized, expert care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with our specialized care teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Oncology patients and families living with cancer
  • Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
  • Facilitate accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials
  • Coordinate patient care activities and participate in the conduct of studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials
  • Collaborate with principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Three years clinical Nursing experience
  • 5 – 2 years of medical oncology experience required
  • Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
