Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:
Oversees the Pediatric Family Services operations.

Responsible for all service programs including child life, music therapy, art therapy, nature-based therapy, and therapeutic gaming & technology across Fairview Health Services.

Engages in strategic planning and development to enhance support for patients and families throughout the healthcare system, focusing on pediatrics, maternal health, and adult patients with children.

Ensures that staff across the system deliver consistent and equitable care to all patients and families.

Collaborates with leaders from various disciplines to promote family-centered care and facilitate pediatric-focused educational opportunities.

Provides direct support and mentorship to managers and supervisors within Pediatric Family Services.

Directs fund allocation and forecasts philanthropic expenditures.
Collaborates with other departments on fundraising efforts.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
Several years of experience in a pediatric healthcare setting or relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in child development, child life, psychology, music therapy, art therapy, leadership, or a related field.

Experience:
Over ten years of experience in a pediatric healthcare setting or relevant field.

Certification:
Certified Child Life Specialist.
