Job Summary: We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide physical therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluation of all patients as appropriate
Implement treatment for all assigned patients
Provide direct supervision to rehab techs in tasks during group and individual treatment
Participate in actively integrating physical therapy's role into facility and interdisciplinary treatment plan
Enhance clinical expertise, professional and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists and other professional staff, self-study, and other continuing education activities

Requirements:
Prior to beginning patient care, a peer PT must complete a Competency Checklist
Effective clinical problem-solving skills
Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic Internet navigation skills

Working Conditions:
Must be able to travel between facilities during scheduled hours
Must be able to work varying hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays
